A film will be shot in Shiranuka!

With “Ainu” as its main theme and based on a scenario by OZAKI Masaya, the film will start shooting in 2021 in Shiranuka, and should be completed in March 2022.
The project has been planned by KAYAMA Kenichi, representative of Proteca LLC, a consulting company for manga authors, and is written by OZAKI Masaya, known for many Japanese dramas (“Umechan sensei”, “Kekkon Dekinai Otoko”, “Ōoku”, etc.).
Mr Kayama, Mr Ozaki, Shiranuka Town mayor Mr Tanano, and Ms Isobe, president of Shiranuka Ainu Culture Preservation Society, attended the presentation of the project to the press in Shiranuka Town hall, on February 20th, 2020.
